The video was animated for a project that has received funding by the UE (its aim is to study and protect sustainable local communities). 

The animation narrates the story of the "Tonnara" of Favignana (in Sicily) and also reflects on various types of fishing used nowadays and their environmental impact.

The colours of the animation call the sea to mind and

the style puts photos in black and white together with simple minimalist shapes.
